I just picked up a Nintendo Switch and this game looks interesting. I generally like JRPGs, as long as it isn't a grind fest. How bad is the grind in this game? Also how long would you say this game is? Thanks!

The grind isn't too bad at all. I'm a big Chrono/SNES Final Fantasy games so I kinda fell hard for it. I want to say its around 20-25 hours.

It's not hard but if you don't go into a couple of boss fights prepared you can completely screw yourself. It's a great game though and one that I think was largely overlooked last year.

I found the game to be pretty hard at first until I found out how the momentum system works. The game does a terrible job of explaining it. The momentum system makes that game a bit of a cakewalk.

I bought this for the Switch, I'm only an hour and a half in or so in but I'm enjoying it. If you want to tweak the difficulty a little you can change the battle system from the default setting Wait, to Active, which just means that the battle doesn't pause while you're in the menu deciding what to do and choosing your attacks/techs; Chrono Trigger is one of my all time favs so I changed it to Active immediately.
