Norman is the fifth gym leader in the Ruby/Sapphire Pokémon games. He is located in Petalburg City and specializes in normal-type Pokémon.

Wallace is the eighth and final gym leader in the Ruby/Sapphire Pokemon games. He is located in Sootopolis City and specializes in water-type Pokemon. In Emerald, he is promoted to champion and his mentor, Juan, takes his place.
Wally is the second rival in Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire and in Pokémon Emerald. He is also the first rival not to have a starter Pokémon.
Wattson is the third gym leader in the Ruby/Sapphire Pokemon games. He is located in Mauville City and specializes in electric-type Pokemon.
Winona is the sixth gym leader in the Ruby/Sapphire Pokemon games. She is located in Fortree City and specializes in flying-type Pokemon.
