You're right. I had pre-ordered and planned on enjoying some BC2 tonight but then I watched this trailer and I just threw the game away. I was like, "fuck, I don't even need to play this anymore, I've been satisfyed by watcing a couple minutes of Halo-ass Halo being played."
Actually I don't have BC2 at all... and there is little chance I'll get this either, unless they can tell me something other than, 'this is halo as fuck.'

However, it doesn't take more than the small bit of intelligence you get from a Cracker Jack prize to tell you that Bad Company 2 and Halo: Reach are very different kinds of multiplayer experiences and games.

Just watched the trailer. Battlefield and Halo CAN NOT. AND SHOULD NOT BE COMPARED. They are two completely different beasts and masters of their respective domains.

All games can be compared, it's how I know what to spend my money on when I go out and buy a game. Such opinions, however, are subjective and differ from person to person.

@TheMustacheHero: Before you start calling people dumb look and read over your comment again. You're calling him dumb because of his own opinion. Then to back up your statement of why jetpacks and rolls trailers can't make HALO Reach look better BF:BC2, you say that they are two totally different games. That statement has nothing to do with your first one. This thread obviously was not aimed at you and there was no need to bring your stupidity with you. As to my opinion, yes, this just laid a Cleveland steamer on BF:BC2. I haven't like any BF game since BF2 on PC and to me this one is just as lame as the others.
@j_drace: I'm talking from a pure graphics standpoint. The game looks exactly like Halo 3 but with jet packs. While I'm not saying that the game doesn't look fun, it does not look better visually than Bad Company 2. I do respect that he's entitled to his own opinion, but by him just saying it "Shat on BC2" it really adds no real discussion and is just flame bait. You see what I'm getting at?

Well, whether he intended it for a certain group of people or not, he posted it in a forum, meaning people with all kinds of opinions are going to read it and put their two cents in, including people who disagree. That way a (hopefully) intelligent discussion can take place... That's kinda how a forum works.
Back on topic, I personally like the team mechanics and overall feel of battlefield more than the tournament-style halos and unreals, so while I'm sure I'll pick up Reach when it hits, I think we should at least wait until the beta so see what's up.
Halo could be very interesting if they made it 12 on 12 using Battlefield: Bad Company's scale, but I doubt this is the case (trailer doesn't hint at it). Shame, Pelicans need to be flown in multiplayer!
Er... I don't think so. I think the trailer looked great and all, yeah, but there's a couple of issues... 1.) This game is NOT OUT YET, and therefore, cannot "shit" on anything 2.) Battlefield and Halo are just about as far apart from one another that FPS games can get in terms of gameplay
