    Halo 3: ODST

    im simply wondering when it will be for the public.. since i have bought halo 3 odst i was under the impression that i would get to play the beta

    I suppose not including some kind of code and requiring the disc is just another effort by Bungie and Microsoft to discourage people from selling the game off if they want to participate in the Reach beta. I have the feeling though this will slightly backfire and just make Gamestop a lot of money in six months or so when the beta does come out and everyone scrambles to buy ODST back.

    It will be released for everyone who owns a copy of ODST sometime next year. I'm going to guess in the summer of 2010.

    Yeah devs seem to want to actively prevent people buying/selling 2nd hand games... and i believe bungie said it would be early on in 2010
