Anybody going to pick up this game at midnight?  I am already going to play with guys from an other forum/webstie after we pick it up that night, but in case that falls through, I am wondering who here is going to be a part of the midnight launch.  My gamertag is ForeverFlash if anyone is potentially interested.

No, I am not going to probably pick this up until the holidays. Still looks good though.

I am in college as well, but I don't have classes other than on Monday night(my two other classes are online and independent study).  My work starts at 12pm, so I have enough time.  I still probably won't sleep, though.

FUCK YEAH!! I haven't missed a midnight launch for a Halo game yet, and I'm not about to start now. I have to be at work at 9:00am the next morning but I'll just call in "sleepy". My gamertag is HaonEtat01 , hit me up.

I'm going to pick it up now.  After seeing a lot of footage, I decided to get it.  Another good thing is that it comes with the Halo 3 multiplayer maps, which I never bought any, so that's another plus.

I ordered it online, got free shipping, coming tomorrow.  I kind of enjoyed the Halo 2 midnight launch, but it's also not an efficient way to get the game.  I would have had to drive up there, preorder the game, then drive up again in the middle of the night and probably wait an hour or 2 (that's how long it took last time)...

I had a nice long conversation with an EB/Gamestop employee about how this game doesn't need a midnight launch. Midnight launches are almost becoming as superfluous as special edition versions of games.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a hard core gamer, but midnight launches?
