Gary Oldman was born in England, and from an early age people saw that he had incredible talent as an actor. He did some small roles during the 80s, but his first huge role came in the 1991 movie JFK, in which he played Lee Harvey Oswald. Later in 1997 he was given the privilege to star alongside Harrison Ford in the movie Air Force One. From there Oldman's career took off. He starred in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire from 2003-2004, where he played Sirius Black. Then in 2005 he appeared in Batman Begins, where he played Sgt. James Gordon. In 2007 he reprised Sirius Black, and in 2008, James Gordon in The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight became the second highest grossing movie in box office history.
Oldman has performed in several video games including a few Spyro games, and notably in Treyarch's Call of Duty: World at War, and Black Ops, where he stars as the voice for the Soviet Commander.
