    Overview

The GameCube Microphone is an accessory that was designed to function with the Nintendo GameCube console by plugging into an empty memory card slot on the console. A select few games offer compatibility with it to varying degrees. Perhaps the most unique game to make use of the accessory is Odama; a hybrid game that is part video pinball and part strategy game set against the backdrop of feudal Japan. The microphone is required to give orders to the player's troops.

To accommodate the necessity of using both the GameCube controller and microphone together, Odama came bundled with both the microphone, as well as a special clip to attach the microphone to the controller.
