The GAL 43 is a black SMG that appears in Saint's Row 2. The GAL 43 looks a lot like an Uzi, and has a 50 round magazine. The GAL 43 has one of the highest fire rates of any weapon in the Saint's Row series.

The GAL 43 can be unlocked by completing Level 3 of the 'Snatch' activity in the Downtown district (it's very near a branch of the Branded clothing store). The GAL 43 can be one of the most useful guns in Saints Row 2, due to the fact they can be dual wielded, and are extremely effective against all targets.
The GAL 43 does not appear in the online gameplay of Saints Row 2.
If you dual wield the weapon, you can do a very small glitch with it. Holster it, and then draw it and begin firing. There's a chance you'll start firing at the ground, and the rounds will still be hitting your target.
