Agree the name is stupid, but unless they REALLY mess it up this trailer alone sold me on the game. I really love the characters, this was short but gave a good taste of everyone.

Also f yes NOT deathly serious shooter, I like fps but hate most ones right now.

I was originally put off because it seemed a bit generic from the title and the genre of the game, but the trailer had a lot of the Insomniac charm that I know and love.

I was getting a sort of Incredibles vibe off the trailer, looks great!

Yay, now Insomniac has three scifi shooter franchises! Four if you count Distruptor!

Totally diggin' this new ip. One of the trailers that really stood out to me during the EA press conference.

Cover-based would clash real bad with the action they were showing off.

Well that's something I've missed -- thank's for pointing it out.

I thought the trailer for this was really well done, and had some good humor in it, but as we all know, humor is a difficult thing to get right in a game.

Doesn't look great. Early to say anything for sure though.

I like the look of it, to be honest while Ratchet games were periphery interesting they never grabbed me. I never aspired to play as a Lombax native to the planet Fastoon. If people at Insomniac Games asked me, "What could we do to entice you to play our games with crazy weapons?” I would have probably described making characters that are more human, but not as far as Resistance.

To be honest, I think even they know Resistance has not turned out the way it should have or as well as they hoped. Overstrike seems like a fresh new start, it works with the company’s ethos of game play better and is a better balance between Ratchet on the one side and Resistance on the other.
