Found via this NeoGAF thread. Yep, probably no room for doubt anymore that this thing's legit, given how many leaks the game's had so far, with these probably showing the game off the most. Sure looks like a Souls game.

I still don't understand why they're making another spiritual sequel. Demon's Souls, then they spun it off to Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2, then another spin off of what looks like to be the exact same thing again? Why not just call it Dark Souls 3 or something.

@steadyingmeat: It's more than that though. I mean they switched to "Dark" Souls presumably because it went multiplatform. And it looks like Project Beast is going back to Sony exclusivity (or was that debunked?), so why would they not call it Demon's Souls 2 or something... it's just a little weird having three different "franchises" from one developer that are obviously all sequels to each other but not really officially. And correct me if I'm wrong because I haven't played DS2 yet, but aren't it and DS1 unconnected, storywise? I had thought that they just take place in the same world with no real connection to each other.

Don't get me wrong, I will still totally get this when I get whatever console it's on. Because let's be honest anything by this team now is a must buy.

And if it isn't, like suggested below, Project Beasts is still a codename, so who knows what it'll be called in the end.

Because it gives them creative freedom to possibly make a better,different game. If a game with shotguns and pirates (?) showed up as "Dark Souls 3" people may not take it as positively because Dark Souls is dark fantasy. If, instead, that same game is called Beast Souls, there's a better chance fans of the soul franchise will like it. On the other hand, if this ends up being Demon's Souls 2, everything I just said is worth nothing.

Well doubt is the wrong word I guess. I would have rather waited for a better deal down the line since in Canada this shit is $450 right now and I've barely used it.

Oh man it's real. I'm in! It would be nice if it was multi-platform so everyone could enjoy it but if it does turn out to be a PS4 exclusive I'm sure there are quite a few people who would buy one just for this.

I never want to play another Soulslike game in what is most of the time a sub 30 framerate. But it is a console exclusive so the hope for 60fps is pretty much dead. Also, it is a damn shame that Dark Souls 2 seems to have been given to some B-Team while the all the good effort went into this.

To add more to the confusion, the Soul series are supposed to be spiritual sequels to King's Field series, and there's already Shadow Tower which is also viewed as spiritual successor to King's Field... From does what From wants, I guess.

Looks great, cant wait for more info. I just hope they dont change the formula too much that it dont feel like a souls game(if it is a full souls game that is).

Well, this makes my new console choice all the trickier. I dig the look of Sunset Overdrive and have always loved Halo, but if this is Dark Souls with a shotgun, then that is all sorts of tempting.
