    Freq is the customizable avatar you create at the beginning of Frequency and Amplitude to generally bounce, wiggle, strum, scratch, and drum to the beat while you play with the controller. Freqs were two dimensional, and had a very limited, but open ended editing system in Frequency, whereas in Amplitude they are 3D, and have an extensive amount of unlockable parts to add to them, topping off with a halo when you complete the game in insane.
