    Short summary describing this game.

Microsoft announced Forza Motorsport 6: Apex on March 1st, 2016. It is a free-to-play "curated" version of Forza Motorsport 6 and is exclusive to Windows 10. The open beta was launched on May 5, 2016 with the final release, which added wheel support and some additional changes, released on September 6.

Apex contains 63 cars and 20 overall track configurations across 6 real-world locations. 3 game modes are available: Tours, Spotlight and Free Play. Forzavista mode, a virtual car showroom, is also present.

    Tour Mode

Tours are themed race events, similar to the calendar events of Forza Motorsport 6's career mode. Each tour has a primary objective that players are required to complete in order to advance and several optional secondary objectives. Cars are not bought, instead players unlock access to cars by earning Medals. Medals are awarded after every race for reaching a certain number of points. As with previous Forza titles, the amount of points you earn are affected by your AI difficulty setting and driver assists.

    Differences from Forza Motorsport 6

Apex does not contain the livery editor, or the ability to buy and install performance parts on cars. It does not have multiplayer racing but does include online leaderboards for each track. The leaderboards are ranked by points (as opposed to lap times) and also display what assists each player used.
