How strict is the admin going to be here?

I come from a community of hard-asses, I'm tired of being forced to leave for days

All the Giant Bomb guys are pretty lax so I don't think you'll have to worry.

I do not think there is any rules right now, but I am sure there might be some coming soon.  Have to keep law and order somehow....right?

I doubt you'll see many rules at all.



And half the rules will likely have something to do with pizza.

Hopefully strict enough to keep people from trolling and otherwise ruining the forum.  Larger boards tend to require stricter moderation, otherwise everything goes to hell.  Just look at the gametrailers forums for an example of just how awful highly lenient moderation can make a forum.

Hopefully this place will be well moderated without being overbearing. I doubt it'll end up like GameSages was back in the day, thankfully.

yea however it will have to be moderated heavily from fan boys which can change say a page for the ps3 to say crap or something

I think the admins will only be strict if the users decide to not follow the rules and break them consistantly

yea basically every site has people which want to cause destruction and such and therefore there has to be moderation to  a certain degree, but yea most of us should be albe to say what we feel it correct

I just hope this forum doesn't turn into a crappy spam fest of flamers and trolls.  As for the moderation, I think the regulars of each board should be able to exercise some self moderation from time to time.

I think this place will be pretty liberal, obviously the admin guys will keep the spammers at bay, other than that id expect its just general forum rules really, no deliberate abuse of other posters, I'm sure everybody will just exercise common sense, but with this being the internet that's probably not going to happen for the slight 1% of idiots who spoil forums for everybody else, After a few days it'll calm down with the the excitement of new forums, Probably be lively here for a few weeks, at least that's what i expect.

If the majority treat other forum posters as they would like to be treated, mostly everybody will be fine. Best to just ignore the flamers, trolls and spammers and let the admin dudes deal with the assholes.
