can i say shit fuk on this website, just to clarify??? =)
Can you swear here?
"I heard yes but not in every post.It makes people think they are cool and mature.
Why would you want to swear anyways?
"
At the moment yes. I wouldn't use it all the time though, some people are already abusing the privilege.
There's no real benefit to swearing, although it can have a positive effect on dramatising or emphasising points, and a negative effect by bringing down the general tone of things.
It might be useful to have a toggleable filter - or a feature where any topic flagged (either automatically or by a user) as being unsuitable in any way, could be indicated by some sort of warning icon in the topic index.
you can swear and you can do it here Official Swearing Thread come one come all, rant rave go crazy, the title maybe a little misleading as you dont have to limit yourself to just swearing it is a place for total anarchy. anything you want to say about anything peppered with any four letter expletives as you wish.

I assume that swearing is allowed to a certain point. When the direct need, should there ever be one, is no longer there I supposed swearing would be bad. Swearing just for the sake of it is, as we all know, pretty stupid. But then again, if someone says something that makes your feelings (positive or negative) well up, I think you are given the privilege to swear. But remember, it is a privilege, and all privileges can be suspended.
My personal rule o thumb for my self, is allowing myself profanities as exclamations, or when trying to make a point in a passionate manner, but only to a limited extent. I try very hard to refrain from actually swearing at a specific user. I may curse, but i wont curse anyone out.
