Is there a game that absolutely pwn N00bs at? (SORRY)
For me, I am ranked #1 (along with 6-7 other people) in Rockband for vocals on "Tell Her No" by The Zombies.
Are you ranked #1 on any game's leaderboards?
Used to be 1st for Demon Souls for a while after it came out.
Was top 10 in Warhawk.
Top 5 for Super stardust COOP. Gota give credit to my bud Tim. Was coop after all.
@TotalEklypse said:lol thanks. My boy Sean was ranked 9. We played the shit outa that game. Used to sit and wait for some poor bastard to enter my world and tag team them. We were undefeated for weeks. Then some other shit came out andI never played again. Bring on Dark Souls!Used to be 1st for Demon Souls for a while after it came out./respect
A bunch of Audiosurf songs, mostly NIN, Led Zeppelin, Garbage, Suicidal Tendencies, Dead Milkmen, The Doors, Jane's Addiction and R.E.M. Other than that, no games I play have leader boards.
I have always been pretty competitive so leader boards have been something that I've enjoyed climbing.
In Halo 2, I was ranked #129 in the world for FFA.
In Project Snowblind, was ranked #18 and my clan was #1 in the world. (Not super impressive because they only carried it on GameBattles for like 2 seasons.)
In Vanquish, my score on Hard is ranked 49th.
Someone on here whose name I completely forget made a flash game and I was number 1 on those leaderboards. Though it was a game where it was impossible to get a game over so all I had to do was be willing to play a bit longer than anyone else.
@TotalEklypse: I think the maddest leaderboards scores are the ones in Dead Rising.Because you have to survive in a mall full of zombies for as long as you can and everything is out to kill you.No saves no continues and you slowly loose health unless you eat it is MADDENING.So that means the people at the top had to have let the game running for HOURS.Holy shit and you have to keep track of Frank or he dies from hunger.MAD FUCKIN MADNESS.Worse than Demon's Soul's I say.Don't remember saying it was hard. Was just asked to simply list ones we had been at the top of. So not entirely sure why you would direct that one at me.
But sure, ok, yea that sounds like a pain.
Even though if you are dedicated to a game, you will be better than someone who wasn't.
I think I'm at the top of a few Audiosurf songs because nobody else played them. I was in the top 15 in the deathrace mode in Skate 2 multiplayer for awhile.
I had the record time for the "Hidden Blade 1" course of the VR Stealth Training in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood on the PS3 not long after the game came out. I think that lasted a couple days. That time's probably gone down a lot in the ranking by now. That's about it, though.
I was 5th in challenge rooms for Bionic Commando: Rearmed awhile ago for most of them. along with being in the top 100 globally for Rockband drums, nothing recent unfortunately. Oh, and I used to be one of the top medics in Resistance 2's co-op, that shit was fun.
Was ranked Top 5 in Dawn of War II for a while. Could've probably been ranked #1 (beat the #1 player plenty of times) but it takes 30 mins to find a game at that Elo and progression took forever (especially since I would constantly get matched with lower Elo players, where I would often not get anything for winning a game). Gave it up for League of Legends and SCII (both of which I'm still getting a hang of at the moment).
Was #10 for Shadow Complex's Speedy challenge where you have to use your speed suit and then jump and run upside down to the finish. The trick was to do a jump glitch that shaves off milliseconds.
I was 9th on the Survival time and 12th on the Survival score leaderboards for Beat Hazard the first couple months that game was out.

When did that happen? D:
No, but me and my friends COD:4 clan beat the 4th ranked team on Gamebattles, it was pretty cool.
Still GB?
I was #1 at both the Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man arcade machines way back when I was a kid and I don't know if anyone's beaten this one yet (haven't played it in quite a while), but I used to be #1 at Bejeweled Twist, with a score of 2.300.400 points. Here's a screenshot of my personal high scores as proof :P
Was number 4 fuerte on the leader boards for AE but then i stopped playing online for 6 days and went to number 400
A wide variety of Audiosurf songs. I was also in the top 10 for Monday Night Combat (PC) for 2 months after its release.
I got up to the top 200 (something like 164 maybe) in the DMC4 boards waaaay back on the DmD difficulty. I'd like to think it's more impressive than it sounds given how popular this series is in the East. I mean my PSN name was literally squashed against a collage of Japanese and Korean players, and the Western flags got less and less prevalent the closer you got to the No1 spot.
In MGO, I'm tied with like 200 other people as a perfect instructor(I used to host a ton of training games too). I also held the number eight spot for Deathmatch in MGO for a while.
I'm pretty sure that I've got a relatively high rank in some of the Arkham Asylum challenges. I was like number 5 for The Joker for a few days after the game came out. Then I slowly moved out of the limelight. :(
I'm tied for #1 on a few songs on Rock Band 3, mainly easy vocal songs with easy to remember Overdrive paths.
Nycccccccccccc. I only played against my Uncle back then, but whenever I beat that gloating SOB it always made me feel like I was Number 1 B-). Who was your main? I remember Axel being my most often 2-go guy.I was ranked #1 among all of my friends in Twisted Metal 2 when I was in 8th grade so very long ago.
Yep, it's great to relive my glory years every once in a while.
Cracked the top 120 (sth. like 118th) on the BFBC2 PC leaderboards a couple of weeks ago. I've fallen a few ranks since then but I think I'll attempt to go for top100 if I have the time and endurance. That's about the best I've done in a ranked multiplayer game as far as I know, so: no I don't think I've ever been #1 anywhere, ever ;)
I used to have a crazy good score on the Uncharted 2 coop leaderboards - never met anyone who could get more points than me per round but unfortunately the leaderboards only ever counted time played and money earned, not K/D ratio or per match averages and I wasn't willing to commit enough time to it to get to the top. Probably my best game though.
Apart from the odd Audiosurf song, no way.
