Similar features and looking alike kinda fall into the same thing. Again people thinking other people look similar is ALL individual, some people will look for exact matches, others will find someone looks like someone from the smallest of features, the latter are usually more imaginatve.

I should've expanded on that:
similar features: chubby, beard look alike: If I saw him in the street, would they look soo similar I thought I was talking to Ryan Davis.
and there's the test, go look up at the pics, would you go up to them, say hi and genuinely think you were talking to Ryan? I dunno, it's just kinda offensive because what, they're both chubby and have a beard and they "TOTALLY look like Ryan" like anyone chubby/bearded is a Ryan Davis clone.

I kinda think your taking this to heart a little too much, but i know you find it offensive, and to be honest, when anyone does this i get very annoyed, because A) its pointless and B) they're totally just drawing very faint connections between the two people. Now i merely posted my Pictures of BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles as a fun jest, a retort to the TC's very bad example if you will, it was no "hey look everyone, this guy looks like Ryan because..." so and so.
But to add to that, me and many of the people i know, think that both Chris Moyles and Ryan Davis, DO genuinely, and i mean honest to God genuinely, look alike, back in the old days when Ryan was clean shaved that is, and i mean that, in the actual facial features. Your definition for looking alike is very different to mine, look alike to me, is not mistaking someone on the street, its more of a "hey you look a bit like "insert name here"" Im just that way, often, my definitions for words differ from everyone else, i dont know whether thats beause im extremely open minded and a hippie, or that im flat out stupid.
Of course there is the phenomenon of the "look alike" business, i would like to discount that entirely, as i mean the casual phrase of "looking alike" as opposed to the term "look alike" because then, if i was saying hes a "look alike" i would be out of my damn mind.
In short, i was just having a bit of fun, everyone has their own take on things visually.
