Explosion Awards? The Death Count? (no idea with that one) The Bombies? The Fuse Busters?...wait no scratch that one, If they have a bad game award about the Bomb Defusers! in this case a bomb blowing up like the site did, is a good thing. Bomb Busters!
They will have a massive theme for the site like they had for TGS, probably with luchadeer. My guess is that it will be some thing about luchadeer deciding which games are the best and the title will have some kind of bomb/deer related pun.

I kind of hope it's not - Luchadeer is awesome, but in the same way as Boat was back on Gamespot - it was more the mystery than anything. As soon as Boat got a common voice and began writing articles, it got old. Luchadeer would get lame extremely fast if they pulled that off, so I doubt they'd try and push him (it) beyond the site background, loading screens, and the occasional article of clothing.
No idea what the game of the year stuff will be called, though.

Haha they're currently frantically rewriting/redesigning everything that they'd already got done. ;)
I could see it being "Game of the Deer" even though I don't want that. Here's hoping it's something new and exciting and hilarious.

haha, I bet they're doing that right now. I can picture Jeff and Ryan scanning this board and ever other post going, "God damnit! Now we can't do Game of the Deer or The Death Count!"
I'd love it if they did as some other publications do, and provide the winner with some kind of trinket. It doesn't effect me in any way, but I bet developers love a physical manifestation of their game crafting prowess. I also look forward to Dr.Strangelove references.
