YESSSSSS,
PAX 08 BombCast
"Was the PAX panel recorded? Will that be released as well. This podcast lacks some depth for those who were not at pax. Still great though. "Please, us in europe want to know whats up in seattle
I actually didn't really enjoy it. It was pretty epic to begin with, but after a while, it just became harder to listen to, with people talking over each other, and like Soap said, the sound was all over the place. It was great to hear them all together again, but the quality of it and the lack of direction let it down.
Needed more Rich Gallup and less alcohol.

Trust me it's wayyyyy funner that way.
Im listening now and I got to tell ya, its pretty much the most awesomest thing I've heard in months!
Even though it was shorter than the average Bombcast it was brilliant. It was great to have all those guys in one room and I'd like to see them get together again, the Bombcasts just seem to get more hillarious with each episode, while still maintaining solid views on gaming. I can't wait for more.
I don't think it was a good idea for them to drink a lot during the podcast. Most users, including myself, were excited to hear Rich, Alex, and Matt again, not Jeff and Ryan swearing up a storm, rambling nonsense, and talking over each other. It was funny at first, but it got a bit redundant after a while. Also, it obviously wasn't the ideal podcast environment for Rich to talk in, so he didn't get a chance to talk a whole lot

It got really off-putting at times. Talking over each other, Ryan putting his girlfriend on speaker, and Jeff's weird drunken moment of clarity about how Pax is totally what I was looking for as a kid, bro.
I hate to be a killjoy, make no mistake i'm the first one to defend this site's casuals style. But dudes, felt like they squandered Rich's visit to the bombcast. I think he felt that way too. Stay sober next time.
On the better side of things, I enjoyed Matt Rorie's visit a lot.
"CoolDrMoney said:I third this. I mean, of course it's awesome that Rich, Alex, and Matt were there, but this bombcast was really a mess. Rich was probably the person I was looking forward to hearing from the most, but he hardly talked at all, and I get the impression that he didn't really enjoy himself on the Bombcast. I still enjoyed the podcast, but I think it would've been much better had everyone been sober."I don't think it was a good idea for them to drink a lot during the podcast. "Was it Rich who said he didn't like doing the Bombcast as much as he thought he would?Well yea he did say it but it seemed that it was because everyone was kind of tired and hungry and it seemed like an awkward place to do a podcast with like 7 people and only one mic. I'm sure if it was in an actual "studio" like the ones they usually podcast from it would have been a better experience for everyone. They'll probably be more prepared next time they have a large group.
Sadface."
Jeff: The sores have healed, it's cool.
Vinny: She's getting on with her life.
Holy shit. That is so wrong but fucking hilarious!
The PAX08 Bombcast was by far the best so far, it was highly entertaining and i know lots of people seem to dislike the swearing and the often random and off topicness that the Bombcast is but i for one love that stuff. And this was made even better because half of the crew were drunk or getting that way and it just made it a more entertaining piece of listening i thought. It's good also to sort of see them being honest, their drinking their saying whats on their mind and talking and acting like they would, like a bunch of friends would when recording a podcast.
It was great to hear from Rich Gallup, the man is awesome and i always held him in high respects so its good to hear from him. Don't blame him for saying the podcast wasn't what he had expected, i mean the GiantBomb crew all sounded pretty smashed. But i hope we see him as a guest in future Bombcasts. Was good to hear everyone enjoyed PAX and thought or atleast i got that impression that it is better than what E3 has become and that its got the potential to become the place for developers and publishers to promote their games.
PAX > E3 fo sho!
