A while back I asked on the Gamespot forums what everybodys favorite GS Live show was, and the majority of people on the forums didn't watch any of the shows, or listen to the podcast, which amazed me.
I was wondering if this trend carried on over to Giant Bomb. Are people here only for the forums and wikis, or do most of us listen to the Bombcast and watch the shows?
Does anyone here NOT listen to the Bombcast?
I don't. I think the team is composed of great reviewers, but I don't have fun listening to them talk. Plus, they often talk about games that don't interest me.
Huh?! These guys might be the funniest guys ever to live. I respect your opinion though. "If Monty Python made a podcast, I would tune in. Also, I tune into the IGN Nintendo podcasts. I think they're pretty funny. They also talk more about games I like.
Gamespot had lot more going to keep track of though didn't it.
At the moment GB only has the podcast and the occasional video feature.
I listed to one completely (last weeks) but it's just that they are nearly 2 hours long, and I don't have the time to listen through all of it :\
I tune in every week. I like it because it's not specifically about anything. You get talk about games, but they often go off on such a tanget that it's more interesting than the more serious podcasts I used to listen to.
I don't because there is no on-site media player for me, on either of the three computers in my house. It kinda pisses me off, I really loved the Bombcast.
I enjoy the podcasts alot... one of the reasons I like giant bomb because of all the great staff here. I enjoyed them on "on the spot" and now I enjoy their bombcast.
"I do not listen to them. Though... I have them all uploaded on iTunes. I can't decide if it's because they annoy me, or because I'm "busy"."

"I think the bombcast is the best gaming podcast on the internet not listening to it is just stupid IMO."I guess your stupid Virago. LOL ( devils advocate)
I listen to it every time, though some times i have to jump past topics they bring up due to them getting on soup boxes and talk about what they think is morally wrong in video games. (they are games you shouldn't be taking them that serious) But thats mostly Jeff and Ryan. Brad and Vinny are ez going.
I don't. I just don't have the time. Since my computer access is only when I'm at work, and I've usually got customers jabberin' on and wantin' shit or somethin'...so if I did try to listen to it...
"I've caught every Bombcast since they started."Same, been going since Arrow Pointing Down
"Subway said:Same with me, too, but when you think about it, that isn't long at all. A ton of people that I know came from Gamespot and just about everyone from Gamespot that was enraged and was into what Jeff and Ryan thought looked for what they were doing and found them through their blog sites."I've caught every Bombcast since they started."Same, been going since Arrow Pointing Down"
Yeah, I pine for tuesday night. Penny Arcade's even more so (when they actually come out), I actually would re-listen to those, alot. I went back for the fake milks discussion a few times as well.
I just love hearing interesting + funny people have conversations, I don't even care what the subject is most of the time.
Back during Hotspot days (I still listen, but I don't get very exited for it) I actually didn't really care all too much about GS other than the podcast, On the Spot, Button Mashing ect.
While I like Giant Bomb's review style much better, I generally know what I'm going to buy or not, and alot of reviews have had completely different opinions of mine in the past so I don't care for them much.
For example the new Viva Pinata vid review made me beleive that I really should get the game for so many reasons, but then I stopped myself and remembered I could not deal with Viva's multitasking gameplay in the least, and that was just the first game's demo.
Jeff and company are too entertaining...i can't help BUT listen to the podcast. thank goodness for itunes podcast subscription
I used to listen to all of them sicne they started but as of 3 weeks ago I haven't really kept up to date with the podcast, not 100% sure why but probably because I got so many to listen to I just stop wantign to listen to them all. I need to unsubscribe to a few of my other podcasts but a part of me doesn't want to.
I've been listening since the very first Arrow Pointing Down Podcast. Hell I still have the file named "Arrow Pointing Down".
I've been listening since Arrow Pointing Down and following the crew since the Hot Spot/ On the Spot days. The Bombcast is the most entertaining podcast about video games that I've listened to yet. I have quite a long journey to work so I can easily fit the Bombcast into my commute.
Ginatbombers who don't listen to the podcast are missing out on a HUGE portion of what Giantbomb is all about.
