Fire Emblem Fates doesn't feel as worthy a successor as it should. 0
Fire Emblem Fates is the very definition of a mixed bag. With some interesting additions and intelligent subtractions from the gameplay systems that result in one of the better playing Fire Emblem games, it seems to come at the expense of moving forward with the wrong lessons from the past game, Fire Emblem Awakening. All three versions of the game, Birthright, Conquest, and the forthcoming Revelations all begin with the same first six chapters. A competent, massive, but safe sequel that feels like more Awakening 0
Note: this review covers both Birthright and ConquestRather than be the final entry in a series rapidly declining in popularity, Fire Emblem Awakening proved to be one of the 3DS's biggest hits. Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright 0
Fire Emblem: Birthright is the game recommended for players new to strategy games or for those that liked Awakening, the previous game. What is on surface the same, such as pair-ups, marriage and children, the updates to the gameplay has vastly improved the flaws of Awakening to a great degree. The story takes place in a war between Hoshido and Nohr. The first 5 chapters and the story in general tends to guide you in the Birthright path, since the story is about Corrin (Your avatar) being kidnapp...
