HI, I just picked up FFXV royal edition on ps4. I am downloading the patches and dlc content now. Before I start I wanted to see how the DLC worked.

- Is the dlc added right into the game or accessed through a menu?

- Is there an order I should be playing them in and is it clear in the game when I should play the DLC story content?

The dlc is in a seperate menu and not integrated into the game itself. You have 3 dlcs, and I would recommend doing them in order, so episode gladio>promto>ignis. I would 100 percent recommend holding off episode ignis till after you beat the game. If you want to jump into the dlc at any point there will be a message saying that its recommended you beat the game first before playing them. However, the game does make it kind of clear when you would be doing the first two.
