Does anyone know if the save bug on the PS3 version ever got fixed? Just bought it for $10 the other day and am debating returning it.

If it's the same one that Skyrim had, I don't think so. From my understanding, it was something integral to the way the game worked, so it wasn't something that could simply be ironed out. Something about how every new save got bigger and bigger in order to keep the world's persistence, and the PS3 didn't really have enough RAM to load all of that. Here's a better source.

You've got about 30 days before you can return it and claim it's broken, right? Why don't you keep playing it and see if it happens to you? It's a widespread problem but some people claim that FONV works just fine on PS3. My brother played 150 hours of Skyrim on PS3, so for some people it never become unplayable.

Unless you have a 360 or PC to play it on, keep trying with this one. Fallout New Vegas is a really good game.

@believer258: Its because I haven't opened it yet. If I open it I don't think they'll return it at all... at least with out a fight.

I played over 100 hours and finished 3 of the 4 New Vegas endings, never any problem with saves. I also manually save out multiple saves at different points in case I want to backtrack, makes it easier to see all 4 endings as well.
