Looks really smooth! I'm glad to hear that it's finally coming out on PC. People thought it had been quietly cancelled.

Still it looks quite good. I think the Fable 1 port was flawless, so there is a good chance the same will happen with the third game.

I think everyone misunderstood what I was saying. I am not talking about shitty ports, although this could be the case you never know, I was flat out calling Fable 3 an awful game and saying that the majority of pc gamers wouldn't be stupid enough to fall for the same "I am sorry the next one will be better" line that Peter feeds the xbox crowd.

Then again, when you consider the quality of the game on the console itself, what hopes are there for the port?

That's true. ahah

For me the best Fable was the first. It had an awesome twist, and some cool ideas hanging out. Two and three full of features, but they come out as bland.

@blueduck: the first fable was on pc. So it's not like pc gamers never had a fable game before and is begging for table scraps. It's nice to see the series return even though I never played a fable game before.

Yeah I know Fable one had a pc port. That port added stuff that was supposed to be in the xbox game but for some reason they just didn't add. If you ever played the xbox version and wondered why at the start of the game there are missions you can never accept and disappear when you get the stats to do them, they're sort of tacked on in the pc version.

You need to think in context and not just assume that because it's a console game ported to PC that it's going to be terrible.

You keep talking about Lionhead studio like it means anything anymore, like it didn't take its credibility and flush it down the toilet. The last outstanding game to come out of them was Black and White 1 after that everything they made was mediocre fluff pumped up by Peter Molyneux's mouth.

At first I was excited that Fable was making a return on PC, but after seeing some gameplay footage I'm kind of glad we "missed out" on it. More dumbed down console nonsense. Also, everything from the color scheme to the gratuitous lighting makes it look butt ugly.

I am thinking in context. I don't have high hopes for the port. If it's great, then I'll be surprised.
