I wonder if this has something to do with Valve changing the pricing for all the Europeans to €uro's instead of dollar$ (on a 1€=1$ conversion rate making it way more expensive then it was seeing 1$ is about 0.60€).
I like Steam, I don't like it that they jack up the prices and it's pretty annoying that the currency doesn't get it's intended conversion rates for a lot of commericla goods.

you know what would be super extra rad fantastically dope? if EA took the AudioSurf idea Valve so kindly pimped to the masses and made a real game out of it. fightin on a rollercoaster, spacehip shootin and dodgin, wheelbarrel out of control, whatever, either way that would make the world explode.

Unfortunately this doesn't apply to the UK, which is annoying. We don't get Ubisoft games either.

Steam is simply the best way to purchase and download games online. The only bad thing about steam is the fact that GTA 4 is not yet available for purchase if youre living in South America. Other than that, steam rocks! You can redownload and install your games as many times as you want and install it on different PCs with no problems at all. You dont have to deal with lost cd keys and stuff.

BTW Giantbomb is simply great. It has the great reviews gamespot USED to have. keep up the good work!

Fudge. I've been waiting for Mass Effect  to come onto steam for a long time now. I even wanted it for Christmas. Then I though "It's Never coming..." STUPID EA NOT SIGNING CRAP FAST ENOUGH!

Crysis has been on Steam for ages and that's EA.

EDIT: Pounds on Steam is an absolute fucking rip-off! £35 for Far Cry 2!? I got it in a shop for £25 on launch.

If you have ever feared about whats going to happen to all of the games you own on STEAM if it ever goes under. Then this is a good thing, because the more companies publish under Steam then the less likely it will actually go down. So Electronic Arts joining Steam is not a good thing and a bad thing, its just a Good thing so that it keeps getting money to keep functioning especially right now in this economic crisis we are in right now.
