    A minor character in Halo 3: ODST, Dr. Endesha is the father of Sadie Endesha, he maintained the Superintendent AI system and installed the intelligent Virgil subroutine to keep an eye on and protect his daughter.

    Death

    Dr. Endesha was killed when he was frozen solid by the fire extinguishing systems, which were turned on during the Covenant invasion of New Mombasa by Police Commissioner Kinsler. A corrupt NMPD officer was sent to confirm his death, and if the Rookie discovers his body, the policeman opens fire and forces the Rookie to kill him in self-defence, the first time a non-mentally disturbed Human has been canonically hostile to the player in the Halo series.

    Trivia

    • At no point in Halo 3: ODST is Dr. Endesha's first name ever revealed; Sadie only calls him "Dad", and Kinsler only refers to him by his last name.
    • The last Audio Log is located by Dr. Endesha's body in the Data Hive level. You can only obtain it, or find Dr. Endesha's body, by collecting all 29 in New Mombasa first. If you do not, the NMPD officer will not trigger the body discovery scene, and instead of betraying the Rookie, he will be killed in a surprise attack by Covenant Drones.
    • Dr. Endesha is voiced by actor Hakeem Kae-Kazim, who also voiced Jorge-052 in the following game in the series, Halo: Reach.
