Diamante Negro is a popular candy bar in Brazil, the name makes allusion to Leônidas da Silva (also referred as "Diamante Negro") who was considered the best player of 1938 World Cup.
The trademark onwed by Brazilian company Lacta was later on transferred to Kraft Foods Inc. Rumor is that Leônidas was paid Three Thousand Dolars for the use of the name in 1938, name that is still in use today as one the most traditional ones on Kraft's portifolio.
