Call me crazy, but this game doesn't at all seem appealing. It's a case of a game not being suited for the Wii in any way. It'd be like Left 4 Dead on Wii. There would probably be no tension because only 10 or so zombies would be on screen at once.

I was hoping for a PS3 version just because I don't have a 360 and really want Dead Rising. I'm gonna wait and see how the reviews turn-out before I consider buying this.

Yea, I'm not sure there's much of an audience. They'd probably have been better off porting the game to PS3, especially considering the likelihood that the sequel will be multiplatform.

I think it may be okay, actually. According to an article I read, there should be a lot of zombies on screen at once (probably around 100, which is decent for Wii, right?), and the controls are going to be better than the 360 version (the gun controls sucked if you remember).  I myself was only a bit of a fan of the first one, so hopefully they spent the last few years tweaking it in favorable ways. I may be all wrong though, and this may suck, but I will give it a chance.

Would have much, much, much preferred a PS3 port if they had to do something.
