Danny Pelfrey learned notation when he was nine and started playing with bands when he was twelve, his first works as an professional composer was scoring car commercials for companies like Nissan and Ford, and promos for Seinfeld and Wheel of Fortune.
In 1993 he started composing video game music, and was hired to score several of Strategic Simulations' games. During the late 90's up until 2003 he worked with Activision, scoring most of their Star Trek games as well as Dark Reign.
In recent years he has mainly been working with TV and film, composing for several CBS and NBC shows, and movies like Enemy of the State, Mars Attacks and The Death of Takmos.
