This humorous actiony Click-em-up ENGSMSPLOEDED outta Nowhere!

Been a long time fan of the Homestar Runner web toons for as long as I can remember, so naturally I'd jump to any new installment in the series-especially if it's a GAME about the Movie within the show DANGERESQUE!

This is basically an updated version of that Point n Click flash game from the website, except they added two more rooms like it (hence the title). The price is maybe a BIT much for something you'll likely finish in one sitting, but it was still fun to figure out the puzzles and listen to the character dialogue. Took me back to the good ol' days of playing games like Freddi Fish or Pajama Sam when I was like... 6 or 7.

There are a couple bits that stumped me, like right at the end where you have to come up with a name for the drink. I later learned how you were supposed to figure that out on a recent playthrough, but for the first time I just guessed my way through that (as best put by KillingYouGuy: "THAT ONE WAS A STRETCH"). Generally speaking tho, most of the riddles are cleverly designed and it's satisfying once you find the solutions that work.

This game's a MUST for Homestar Runner fans, and MAYBE I can recommend it to newcomers as well... It depends... I know HR jokes are notoriously reliant on the viewer's familiarity with earlier material, but I still think most people can get behind the general humor of this game. There's one bit where if you get Dangeresque to drink sewer water, he turns into this weird monstrosity for a few seconds... I later saw the "sbemail Animal" short that was referencing, but even before I realized that, it was still hilariously screwed up as it was.

This was a neat time-waster. And if you haven't played it yet, then it looks like you're gonna have to JUMP IN and experience if for yourself!

    8/10
