Overview
Cuccos are chicken-like birds found mostly in towns and on farms in the Legend of Zelda series. They are very timid creatures for the most part, and when picked up they frantically flap their wings, allowing Link to glide over short distances. However, if Link repeatedly attacks one, a flock of invincible cuccos will swarm and relentlessly attack him in return until he leaves the area. An exception to this behavior would be shown in Twilight Princess; instead of being attacked by the cuccos, Link can control one for a few moments.
