Cthulhu Mythos is a RPG created by Developed by AlchemyBlue and Published by DLsite. The protagonist and his 3 friends are caught in a rain storm after breaking into an abandoned mansion as a "test of courage." After a short exploration, the mansion clearly is not what it seems and ghostly figures can be seen.
The game features multiple characters and allows you to pick the gender and name of your protagonist character. Players are then able to distribute skill points into various stats which affect their overall HP, MP, Sanity, and Skill Point Values. Finally, Players are able to select up to 7 skills based upon their total starting number of skill points available. The skills consist of active, passive, and context specific skills.
Character Inventory consists of a set number of slots based upon individual character stats. Items are often visible on screen, and players may leave old or unwanted items on the ground. This may be necessary as item slots are limited.
Characters may equip 1 weapon and accessory. Special Silver weapons also exist, which may be weaker than obtained weapons, but are the only weapons capable of damaging spirits.
