Originally introduced in the console versions of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, a Brutality was a finishing move consisting of a very long combo that resulted in the opponent's body exploding. The concept was reintroduced and altered in Mortal Kombat X.
A feature in fighting games that sees the combatants say something unique to each other prior to the beginning of the fight. It has been popularlized by NetherRealm Studios' Mortal Kombat and Injustice games starting with MKX.
Games where attacks directed to the crotchal region cause much more damage than other areas, sometimes as a male-only phenomenon.

Finishing moves are typically moves that end a fight in a traditional fighting game.
