Bullet Bills are enemies in the Mario franchise. They are one of the games' more challenging enemies.
A Chain Chomp (or Chomp) is a common enemy in the Mushroom Kingdom, first appearing in Super Mario Bros. 3. They resemble ball and chains, and behave in a very dog like manner, to the point where they even bark.
Goombas are common enemies in the Mario games.
Hammer Bros. are a species of Koopa that throw hammers at plumbers.
The wings on its back allows it to hop or fly. They are not as common as normal Koopa Troopas, but they pose a bigger threat.
Toys that come to life, whether in the form of lovable action figures with personalities of their own, or psychotic dolls possessed by the souls of deceased serial murderers.
In many games such as Devil May Cry and God of War, Orbs, or "Souls", if you will, spawn out of the enemies you destroy and provide you with either sweet life or power. Many times these "Orbs" can also be used as a currency of sorts to upgrade.
Games that are arguably the most fun in a "party" scenario with multiple players in one room.
A species of carnivorous plants that reside in pipes. Some specimens can spit fireballs.
Podoboos are living fireball enemies usually found in Castles in the Mario games. The original ones would only jump out of lava in simple patterns.
Shy Guys are masked hoodlums of the Mushroom Universe.
Tiny red-shelled creatures from Super Mario Bros. Always a pain to defeat as they are covered with spikes.
The Tweester is a tornado like enemy found in several Mario games. It usually doesn't harm you, just blow you away to places or ways you probably don't want to go to.
Wigglers are enemies that look like caterpillars. They first appeared in Super Mario World, where if Mario, Luigi, or Yoshi jumped on it, the Wiggler would turn red and start running fast, as well as being able to move in the character's direction.
