Overview
A IV Networks, stylized as A IV Network$ and also known as A4 Network$ or simply Networks, is a business simulation game developed by both Artdink and ERE Informatique and published by Infogrames for DOS PCs in Europe sometime in 1995.
It is a localized overseas revision of Artdink's 1993 Japan-exclusive game A-Ressha de Ikou IV, tasking players with managing both the local transportation infrastructure and investments in the financial markets. Players take part in an in-universe economic simulation to determine if they can succeed the managing director (Chief Executive Officer in the NA version) of a large corporation known as "A IV" (pronounced A4, known in the later North American release as the "A-IV Group").
It later received a release in North America by I-Motion, where it was also known as C.E.O. and features both full-motion video (with James Coburn playing the role of the company's former C.E.O.) and brand association with the news network CNN.
