Boss Pattern last edited by Marino on 07/28/22 04:34PM View full history Overview A boss is usually the most powerful enemy of a game. Its attacks are devastating and can be a real challenge for the player to beat. Luckily, one thing that always gives the boss away is its pattern. Like most A.I., bosses follow a pattern that repeats over and over. These patterns usually involve a series of attacks and may change according to the situation. For example, a boss may have a long ranged attack, a close-in rush attack and a ground pound that damages everything around it. After a while, the player starts to memorize the pattern and how to get around the boss. A seemingly impossible boss suddenly becomes very easy.
