The Boomers live within Nellis Air Force Base. Practically everyone that has tried to get to their base has been blown up by the artillery barrages that the Boomers launch at anyone who gets near them. The history of the Boomers can be traced back to a group of Vault Dwellers who left Vault 34 after the Overseer said they couldn't use explosives.
Besides explosions, the Boomers also have an interest in aviation and seek to raise a B-29 Bomber from the bottom of a lake in the Mojave Wasteland. Should the player do this for them, they will fly the bomber over the Hoover Dam during the Second Battle of Hoover Dam at the end of the game and bomb the opposing faction.
