I'm having a really strange problem with this game. Basically I cant go online because of this issue and I've yet to find any forum post anywhere describing the same issue. Allow me:

So when the game initially asks you for you to type in your EA account password, I'll select the box, the Xbox One keyboard comes up, and as soon as I hit the first letter/number of my password the keyboard/game locks up. I can bypass it by going to the Xbox home screen and back into the game, but otherwise there is no way to enter my password and therefore play online. The single player is decent, but I payed for the game and Xbox live to play this with friends and this is pretty aggrivating. This problem happened at launch, and is still occuring as recently as last night, 11/5.

Any help or ideas on how to get around this issue would be amazing. Thanks all.

Not sure if this will work but have you tried connecting to your Xbox using the mobile app? It allows you to remotely type in the keyboard.

When I booted it up, never had that happen but probably because I already linked my EA account with my XBL account. If you haven't done that try to do so on your computer through EA, Battlelog or Battlefield Companion on your mobile device.

I feel silly that I didn't try this before, but I was able to bypass it by plugging a keyboard into the Xbox. It was still buggy as hell, but worked enough to let me through. Thanks all for the help. Hopefully this will help someone else in the future.
