    Overview

    Basketball Nightmare, developed by Sega and published by same in Europe and South America markets, is a basketball game where the player character falls asleep and dreams about playing a bunch of monster teams at basketball. As well as the requisite werewolves, there are also cyclops, skeletons, geisha, samurai and kappa, the Japanese water youkai.

    Oddly, the two modes that aren't single-player - CPU vs. CPU and Human vs. Human - consist of two teams of normal basketball players. The monsters only appear in the single-player Human vs. CPU mode.
