    Awsome!!!!

Baja: edge of control is exactly what i have been looking for in a off road game it hits the fine line between sim and arcade where as all other off road games always lean towards arcade even codemasters dirt was pretty arcade in nature there tracks while diverse where flat with the occasional pot hole here or there.

This is where BAJA strays from the pack  and really captured me in the game is the tracks how insanly rugged thay are youll be fighting the car even on straight aways youll be constantly making minute adjustments every half a second just not to roll your car wich there are close to 50 difrent model's of trucks,VW beetles, open wheel and 4x4s each handle diffrently  and a bunch liveres for each one from real life sponsers such as MAXXIS  and so on.

The game modes are pretty standerd fare there's arcade, career and multiplayer online and offline split screen (i will get to that later) but whats not standerd fare are the event types theres circut races where you do laps around the track and try and come first pretty standerd then theres rally race (my favorite) a point to point affair but rather than being 2-3 minutes long there usally 15-20 minutes long of constantly diffrent rugged terrain that will have your eyes watering.
Hill climb well its in the name you climb a hill but with a bit of a twist you have to get back down go around the mountain wich are sometimes 200-500ft monsters then race back up again with nine other racers josseling for position.
Baja is the big part of the game obvisouly its in the name these are point to point rally stages that can last anywhere from 1-4 hours of total driving time of constantly diffrent terrain during the race you will never see the same place twice wich is amazing.
Rounding it off is free ride where you can take  any car and drive it around one of the nine 14sq km maps and just explore.

Graphics are the only issue with baja when you sit still and look around the game looks kind of bland but when you start moving you have no time to enjoy the sceneary as your to busy trying not to crash while hurtaling through the desert. the gameplay deffinatly makes up for the lack of visual flare.

One thing really put the icing on the cake for me is the 1-4 player splitscreen multiplayer you can do everything thats in arcade in multiplayer the amount of times i have had friends pop in and realize the new game that i got dosent  have any local play so i have to pass the controler around or tell your friend to go out buy the game go home and go online its so nice to have up to 4 players able to race on the same 15-20 minute tracks.

Overall im having a blast with this game with 95 courses 50 diffrent vehicles it has a ton of replay value good for when mates pop in and fun by yourself i highly recomend this game to any one who is even slightly intrested in offroad at all .
