    Overview

    Astro Ninja Man is an indie 2D shoot-'em-up developed and published by RIKI for the Family Computer on May 9, 2020.

    From the developer behind Kira Kira Star Night and 8bit Music Power, Astro Ninja Man has players moving left-and-right as the titular ninja astronaut, automatically firing barrage of blasts at invaders in order to defend Earth. Pushing the limits of the Famicom, the game features chiptune music by Manabu Namiki, BUN, Hiroto Saito, and Nobuyuki Shioda.

    An enhanced version of the game was published by Columbus Circle on February 25, 2022. Titled Astro Ninja Man DX, this version includes a new game mode ("Quick Game") where players have three minutes in a special stage (with new music by Nobuyuki Shioda) to earn the highest score.

    The game will receive an arcade release on September 2022, ported by Team EXA-AM1 to the PC-based exa-Arcadia platform. It will be released as Astro Ninja Man EXA.
