    Overview

    Alwa's Awakening is a retro-style 2D side-scrolling platformer for Steam. It follows the "metroidvania" blueprint, creating a large interconnected world with an auto-map the player can consult to get their bearing.

    The story concerns the young magic-user Zoe as she moves across the world using her versatile wand to defeat evil and solve puzzles. Zoe learns new spells as the game continues, adding more options for combat and traversal.
