    Wasn't it one of the earlier bombcasts where Jeff and Alex had this thing worked out where there was a "big announcement" coming at the end of the podcast where Jeff offered Alex a job at which point Alex declined and said how he was going to work for Harmonix?

    I'm pretty sure the Giantbomb HQ is already crammed full of people in their nuclear bomb shelter so unless they migrate to a new location I don't think there is any room for more people.

    The Giantbomb crew are like Alex's metaphorical mom & pappy. 
     
    Whenever he's feeling down or in need of help, we'll always be there to back him up. 
     
    As much as I'd be ecstatic for Navarro to come home and do some more of what he started out doing. He seemed to have purposefully gone for the harmonix oppurtunity that he was offered, almost 2 years ago, to step out on his own. 
    I don't think he could go back to reviewing. Outside of the odd bombcast guest appearance here and there. 
     
    And on that note, if he never does return "home", here's to hoping he'll come and guest star for a couple of bombcasts! (Raises actual glass of whiskey.) 
     
    And good luck in all future endeavours Mr. Navarro, you do well by your own decisions, whatever they will be and have been!

    little more food for thought... both Alex and Jeff twiteed last night that they saw Bam Margera at a bar... so that means Alex is in town with Jeff... yeah...
     
    If he was back a GB, it would make sense why they couldnt say anything yet because his process of leaving Harmonix might not be complete yet and whatnot. just a theory / speculation of course

    Alex tweeted a few days ago that he was visiting the bay area for 2 weeks. So him being with Jeff is hardly a surprise.

    Yup, for sure. I think there is plenty of room for GiantBomb to grow at this point, and it would be great to have someone like Alex come on board.

    The staff here seem to have always been, and always will be, all about quality over quantity, and I'm certain this mantra spreads to how many people/the type of people they bring on board. I think they will grow at the pace they feel is necessary to maintain solid content and game review coverage on the site.

    my apologies i didn't mean a 'more is better' philosophy. just that i've been a fan of Alex since gamespot and i think he would be an excellent and well fitting member of the team.
