    Overview

3-D Bomberman, also known as Sanjigen Bomberman (or "Three Dimensional Bomberman") is a first-person maze action game developed by Kawaguchi and published by Hudson for MSX and Sharp X1 computers in 1984.

Based on the 1983 game Bomberman, 3-D Bomberman changes the perspective to one similar to first-person dungeon crawlers (as well as the 1983 game 3D Monster Maze). Players guide their hero through a maze, hunted by monstrous balloon creatures, as they plant bombs in a way that the creatures get caught in the blast without the player also getting blasted.
