Overview
WWII GI is a historical-military first person shooter developed and published by GT Interactive for the PC (using MS-DOS) on March 15, 1999.
Developed using the Build engine (and built directly on Duke Nukem 3D), WWII GI is the sequel to NAM and is now set during World War II. Players control an Allied soldier of the 101st Airborne Division as they take part in scenarios against the Nazi regime.
The game later received a digital re-release (using DOSBOX) for the PC and Linux by Retroism and Nightdive on November 13, 2015.
