Brad's next challenger has appeared and it's the pseudo-Genesis-era sidescrolling action game: Volgarr the Viking. It seems safe to say that this will be no easy match for Brad.

I've been playing this game the last few days and enjoying it a lot. I've only reached as far as world 3 so far, but I'm determined to see it through to the end, no matter how many tries that takes. Anyone else been playing this game? Any predictions on how Brad will fare with it? I'm rooting for him to beat at least one boss!

I expect him to Brad it up quite nicely. This game is all about pixel perfect platforming and timing and well...that's not really a Brad staple.

I recently got all the achievements.

The game is very deliberate which IMO is most likely to 'break' brad, as you can't play very reactively.

On the plus side it's pretty memorization heavy so if you play enough, you'll eventually know all the obstacles by heart.

Things to look forward to:

- Brad realizing there's no checkpoint before the bosses.

- Brad realizing there's an alternate even harder set of levels that's required to get the real ending level and boss.

Brad not crouching.

Seriously, Rev3 (Adam Sessler and Anthony Carboni) played it recently, and it bothered me how they never bothered to crouch to attack the lizardmen at the start so they kept on dying on the earliest bits.

It'll probably go as well as Spelunky. I think he reached world 2? Once?

The real question is...who's in on the action.....time to first death?????

Brad was actually doing pretty well on the QL. Looking forward to this I......I.....I really enjoy watching Brad play (please don't tell anyone)

I won't give a time, but I am willing to bet his first death is after he gets the helm and the lizard by the first snake does his jump towards Brad.

UPDATE: Called it! Although he didn't have the helm.
