E3 2018: Loneliness Is Truly a Monster in Sea of Solitude

This game looks amazing and is easily the most interesting thing EA has on the horizon. I also loved how excited the dev was to talk about it. Depressing Loneliness? Sign me up!

Hope this plays well, because I love how it looks.

I love the look and concept of this. EA might not be exciting me with it's big budget games but I like how they are experimenting with games like A Way Out, Fe, Unraveled, and this. Not all of them are amazing, but different. And I like different.

This game reminded me of Submerged with the focus on piloting a small boat around. The visuals are obviously different and the focus seems to be on keeping away from the giant fish monster. Looks like it could be interesting.

The developer seemed like she knew what she was talking about insofar as the game's vision. The way she talked about loneliness weirded me out a bit, but the game caught my attention as a result.

I don't know that I feel super strongly about the look. Not in-game anyway, that piece of concept art at the end is more interesting that anything in the trailer. But I did like the earnestness of the developer, and I'm willing to put some trust into that.

Yeah, i can see the Submerged comparison. I'm not on board yet, but this was definitly the most interesting showing at EA.

I'm really intrigued by the concept of the game and looking forward to seeing more of it, and I was also very into the presenter's Kraftwerk shirt.
