BlizzCon 09 Interview: World of Warcraft: Cataclysm

Brad is the master of interviews!  He asked my question regarding those who have the expansions and those who only have the original game.  Nice work Brad!

Excited for the new races but I'm very nervous about them blowing up Azeroth.

Anyone else see the three glowing lines in front of the werewolf's face?

He should have asked more about the graphic overhaul :/ I got a monstercomputer now, and do not really want to play a game that looks like it came out in 2003

Brad probably didnt saw this but geoff keighley got a release daite from Mike Morhaime in an interview, or at least more that this guy gave.
 

Just interviewed Mike Morhaime on DirecTV live. Confirmed Starcraft 2 beta will start in 2009. And 2010 release for WOW: Cataclysm.

Nice to see how they are revitalizing azeroth.

i think the whole idea of a revamped azeroth is great. they can take the zones that sucked and make them awesome

I think they are hiding the release date due to The Old Republic, when Bioware announces the release date they will probably try to release it either a month before or after.

But usually with high end games, lower settings make the game look shitty, as opposed to this, which is built for everybody. I still think WoW looks good, obviously it could look better, but i dont think it really has to.
 
Besides, the old zones are going to look brand new...much to my dismay.
 
Aion is an MMO that has good graphics if you want, played the beta of that, pretty solid, but it was just a Korean WoW, it had its own thing going on, but still, it was really WoW-like. "

My bet is on before, this expansion has the potential to draw in many old players and to motivate many people to stay with WoW instead of looking for another game "

So...we're all required to buy the expansion? Will we just...not be able to play? Good questions though Brad, laughed hella hard when he slicks his hair back and looks away at "gobiln rogues before next blizzcon?"

For someone who doesn't play WoW anymore, i have to say Brad did a fantastic job with that interview. BRAVO!!!

Really gotta give props to Blizzard for not just churning out another expected Expansion.

Great interview Brad. I really like what they are doing with this new expansion, but when are they going to fix the game so we don't get that damned "additional instances cannot be launched" error? If they would just fix that one thing I would happily fork over my money and play the game again.

I barely ever got any story out of WOW when I was playing it. Besides the cool trailers they make, the story doesn't really factor in that much when it's all through text boxes and logs.

I'm glad they're reworking Azshara, it's a horrible zone, too long, takes incredibly long to trek across, especially on the level range you do so there.

Guess Im buying a new computer and coming back to Warcraft when this poo poo comes out.

 Although this will be a minor expansion compared to The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King, there will still be tremendous changes.  Can't wait to play on Alliance side again because of the Worgen! Do the new races excite you? I'm sure Blizzard will make history on game sales again because of this update.
