Oh dear god, after 50-ish tries a map is finally loading. Bet I'll get disconnected. Just shot a dude in the face with a bazooka. Off to a good start.

Yeah, due to high demand they don't have enough servers, and are adding more.

This game is unplayable at  the moment

As soon as my girlfriend gets up from her nap I am gonna go get this for 360.  Can't wait, hope it is as good as I am imagining and that it retains players.

Looks like a good game. I might want to buy it once people say the servers are fixed

I didnt plan on buying this game at all...then I caved as soon as I heard the theme tune. It always gets me..

Does this game have an offline mode to play against bots?

Played for a couple of hours, absolutely thrilling.  The planes flying over at low altitudes really make you want to jump for cover.  Great sound effects are just the icing.

Downloaded it four hours ago. Succeeded only in playing the tutorial, otherwise there were 'no games available' or the game would get to the joining stage and it just timed out.

Its available in Canada, but isnt on the XBLA page yet (or at least it wasnt this morning).  I found it in the news section or whatever (where you would see the deal of the week and such).

Earlier this afternoon the servers were overloaded and it took me about 30 minutes to join a game that was super laggy and kicked me after about 15 minutes.  Then, after another aggravating 15 minutes, I was able to join a second game which was lag free and didn't kick me, yay!  At times our numbers were low, but they improved over time, I just waited it out.  I had a blast.

It looks good, but I don't have the money to shell out for it right now.

I really want to get this. But I'm short on dough.

Damn and I just spent all my Microsoft points on Fallout 3 DLC looks like I might have to spent some more cash sooner then I expected.

If it wasn't for the matchmaking being totally brokenn, I would be utterly enamored. With the servers in the state they're in though, I havent played too much. What I have played has been great though, classic battlefield point-capture, great-feeling weapons, and awesome intensity

Damn thing won't even log on to the EA Online service, I'm starting to get frustrated...

This trailer just screams 'We want to feed off nostalgia and pick up sales for a game that's already existed for years'. On top of that, they have diluted the original game, and this is a case where addition by subtraction does not apply.

But if that's your cup of tea, then so be it.

Gosh I still love BF1942's score, pretty nostalgic listening to this trailer.
