I just got the game and so far my biggest complaint is with the training in the career mode. I cant seem to make any ground on my 16 stats that I have to raise, they just constantly drop back down to zero. Does anybody have any tips on how to maintain them?

30,50,70; those are the milestones. Don't be varied in point allocation; just get your stats to those milestones.

do some sparring 
and then 1up all of your skills 1 by 1 until 30
this keeps the stats from decaying. 
 
then repeat the process for 50 and 70

This is a really goofy way to build the system.  Almost forces you to create a jack-of-all-trades guy instead of specializing. 

@pughua I agreee with this but atleast you can get him to plateaus so that in the end you can concentrate on your special stats while not having those others deteriate completely.......... having 70's in stats that your not super interested still helps immensly :)
