I'm creating this thread so people can post the names of people who disconnect when they lose. So if any Giantbombers out there find one list it here so they can be avoided or just vent your frustrations about them.

If some asshole sends me a dick message because I whupped his ass, I just block communicattions and list them as an avoided player.

If I think one of them DC'ed on me, I report them for cheating.

Trust me, if enough people get reported for cheating, their accounts will be suspended and in some cases banned.

I just got one from mattdeniro on the psn. I had his stamina down to the red and was pounding his face in on the ground... and i got a disconnect, that can't be a coincidence.

What is crazy is he was winning too. He had me dazed, but he got overly aggressive and I KOed him after his third missed head kick. Dude most be a unplug vet, to disconnect that quick... :(

I haven't had ANY DCs yet.  Then again, I haven't been winning the matches...so...that MIGHT have to do with it.

Based on my experience it's not as bad as people lead on, but that doesn't mean it's not a problem. 

Just had one. Level 24 i believe. Had a 17 win streak. His name was Luck E Hitman on xbox live. He got bitched the whole match.

They really need to change how you get nothing for it because the OTHER guy leaves. It's garbage. I want my fans and points for stomping someone 20 levels ahead of me.

I messaged him to say thanks for the flash KO achievement. His response was "u needa (n word) with a 24 pack of abs t0 win".

I haven't got around to getting it yet but from sounds of Jeff on the bombcast your gonna need a huge list.

okay i calmed down, regrouped myself, and gave it one more shot, not even ten minutes later, another rage quitter ... f this game I'm going back to W@W.

Ya people seem to be using it as a tactic now...

I had a friend say he had 4 people quit on him in a row. This problem needs to be fixed and fixed now.

Also a tactic I use to avoid quitters for the most part is if they have a long win streak, a large win to loss ratio or if they are a high level with very few wins for that level then I don't play them. This dosen't catch them all though, I had a guy quit out on me when he had 13 or more losses then wins.

We should all sign into our accounts and file complaints against every name in the thread. =P

I think people have caught on to this tactic recently. I was getting fair fights during the first few days after release, and this week i got DC'd on in 4 fights. its pissing me off and making me not want to play this game thats really great.

Did the update do any type of penalty for people that disconnect?

I'm sending them all messages on xbox.com making fun of them. I am having fun with this. :p

Just start sending these complaints to the UFC. Make a stink to them, because they seem to really be pushing this game hard to help their business. Let the crap roll down hill to THQ from their new meal ticket. And if you're lazy, just BCC all of them--the Developer, the Publisher, and the UFC to create a patch for the broken online experience. IF enough people complain, it will happen.

Realistically, who is going to look at this list before every match? It's a somewhat decent idea when thinking about it, but has no practicality whatsoever.

i started playing this game online last night, got to level 15 and went into a fight level 99, AND SUBMITTED HIM! but right when he tapped he DC'ed... talk about a kick to the balls...

Ya ultra high levels are probably rage quitters....

Damn, I haven't been keeping track of their damn names.
I've had at least one disconnect per day that I've played, however.
I do remember, though, this one time a guy disconnected on me and I was so fed up at that point that I sent him a message simply saying, "C'mon man".
He replied with, "Sorry man, ARMY comes first".
Perplexed I sent him a message that simply said, "...what?"
His response, "ARMY!"
To which I said, "The Army happened to call just as I was TKOing you?"
And he said, "I'm not a cheater, but yeah"
*facepalm*

Just wait guys,  the patch should be out sometime today and all of your problems will go away!

LOL dude xbox live is down for maintenance all day. and the patch isnt comming till sometime in july at that, i wish it was comming sooner but it isnt.

why dont you add the names off all the weekly top 100.

they all have like 134 wins 0 loses... no one is trhat good/lucky

Not yet, but THQ did address there is one on the way.
